I was hoping after the promising season with Iasca, that SQ might actually stage some sort of a come back. Maybe I was wrong!

I have been trying to sell in the FOR SALE area an Alpine MRDF-752 5 channel amp that rates at 99 watts x 4 and 369 x 1/ comes with it's box and manual/ still has extended warranty left that can be transferred and extended again/ and is in MINT condition. I am asking $800 obo and have not rec'd one offer!!! Not even a question about it. I competed at the world finals in Charlotte last year with this amp. It is a kick &ss amp.

Am I asking too much or are people still just looking for the thump rather that the overall package???? Just a thought.

Don't take this board too seriously Mike. I bet no one would buy my Rane EQ's for $60 on here cuz alot of people are too dumb to undertand how they work or how to use them, most people here want cheap gear that's really loud. SQ is totally coming back. There is alot of potentially great competitors here.

Seriously though. I know what Type of company Rane is and the caliber of audio equipment they provide. But i do take it to offence that you are calling us SQ morons. I dont claim to know much about SQ and the hard work and brains it takes to make an award winning system. But EVERYTHING i have learnt about this topic i learned from HERE and every one of the most competent car audio minds i have ever know.

This is a great website with lots of knowledgeable people, and yes, SQ is making a comeback !!!!

 

Lots of people on here know a lot about SQ and SPL. So saying that the place is full of morons is a tough swallow. A lot of pride here..........

Anyways, yes even I have historically at times experienced the inbox of email wanting relatively expensive gear for less value then a dirty donkey's butt hair. Annoying, but what are you gonna do?? Publicly take a dump on the board............. not a good idea as there are a few watch-dawgs around here that will slay you, bend you over and sing "Good-Night-Irene" to you all nite long

 

DWVW: I am well aware of the fact that whether or not I sell this amp does not dictate the state of SQ. I would have thought that it would have at least generated some questions.

I have been competing Iasca for a few years now. I competed in the finals last year and went undefeated in Western Canada this year so I do have some sort of a clue.

As well if you would have read my posting all the way, you would see that I asked the people on the board if indeed someone had an opinion if I was asking too much.

Over this season, I have seen alot of people talking very loudly about SQ and competing but funny enough didn't see many of them at the competitions to challenge me and Bryce and Steve and Blue Benz. We were by far the steady competitors and would have loved to see other people bring it instead of just saying it.

If this comes accross as bitter, I apologize. Actions just speak much louder for me than alot of words.
