JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO ON SQ SHOWS IN THE AREA OTHER THAN MOES SHOWS IN HUNTSVILLE? I HAVENT SEEN ANY OTHERS POSTED YET.

PLEASE ADVISE..

 

There's an SQ/SPL event at Red Ball Radio in Belleville in June 15th. It's a fun event, not sanctioned by any org and I've attended that event for the last two years. It's a great show, usually prizes for everyone.

Last I heard Stereo Connection in Cambridge was having one June 26 but check the IASCA web site for more details. As well Progresive is have a few too. www.iasca.com

sorry for this newbie question but wht is SQ or SPL or EQ, i've been reading these terms but i have no idea wht they stand for or mean?

SQ - Sound Quality
SPL - Sound Pressure Level (basically loudness)
EQ - Equalizer (a device used to raise or lower the level of a certain frequency range)
