For the front stage i have a set of FOCAL 165V 6.5" comp with a pair of audioson spx2 amps to run them, i have a modded D2 amp (i know not the best for SQ but with the gains right down its the best i can do for now, also have a RWaudio LD, i am looking for a single 10" sub that will be able to take in the 1.5kwrms range. I have looked at the alpine typeX, orion H2, and RE XXX. now obviously these are not SQ subs but i would like something that will sound great and bang hard if im in the mood(you now how it is lol)

Thanks for the help

If you like MTX the 9500 series will definetly knock your sock's off, no they dont have 1.5kwrms but what they do with 1 kwrms is outstanding one of the loudest sub's ive ever heard

Actually, the type X is made to do double duty. Ask defro, he has 3 of em in a truly trick neon install.

I have 2 Phoenix Gold Xenon subs. They sound amazing! they hit the lows nicely. When i turn it up with some good bass music, they can make my ears pop, and give me a headache.

The xenon line isnt much liked these days (amplifiers), but there subwoofers are truly great.

Put your ears to the test...if you like the way it sounds then it's SQ.

R U looking for one sub or a pair? If you want only one then consider a Diamond Audio TDX (1000 watts rms). They cost a pretty penny but sql is sweet!
