ok well i am looking at pick up some new subs and going all out sq. i new to this and have mostly gone the spl route but hey going to the dark side now.

i am looking for suggestions on what would be better, I have been looking at getting 2 or 4 8's or 2 10's or 1 10 or 12. so i am rather open. The brand i have been looking at are dd's(8's mostly) also dc audio jl alpine focal....

i am open to suggestions for other brands /set ups to.

my price is "around" $500 and i have a crx with a memphis 4kw( no power issues there) and for a front stage i have hyrbrid audio 6.5" comps and a hollywood tube amp and i am full active.
