The price won't bother me that much, I was already planning on spending the money on w7's. I dunno what size I want tho, I have 10's now and I like them. Anyone have w7's that have an input on size? I was going to buy the 13.5" W7's

W6 has better SQ (read reviews). The JL 1000/1 is 1000W from 12-14.4V.

W6v2's are great subs. I use to have 3 12's. I, like you, was going to get 2 W7's but was glad I spent the money on 3 W6v2's instead. They are great sounding subs. They just don't like large power for extended periods. They are great for SQ setups or moderate SPL.

IMO Go with the Focal. If you find the tweeter too bright bring them down -3db or go off axis.
Space has nothing to with the fact that HD series is the new top of the line amp offered by JL Audio. Alot of companies are decreasing the size of an amplifiers foot print. HD series also make more power than the slash series. I've used both and recommend the hd over slash anyday. JL is also discontinuing the slash series soon after the hd1200/1 is released.

Soo....the slash amps will even cheaper as people try to sell them off. I gues it's the old A/B vs D power debate.

The new top of the line Memphis amps sure look pretty.

How much are you looking to spend on amps? I have the JL HD's in my car and they are quite nice.
JL get the vote for me on subs.
I would also say to go with the W6 line. 95% of the performance for a lot less money.

If I end up going with w6's I'd probably do the same setup as you, 3 12's I always thought 4 8" w7's would look pretty awesome in the back of my trunk haha. But you guys know more than I do so ill most likely go with the w6's
