Tips for Fibreglass Sub
I am considering building my sub into the rear /side portion of my trunk (just in front of the tailight) on my 98 3 series BMW sedan. I would like the sub enclosure to follow the contours of the inside of the trunk, so I guess I would glass this part first, then build the face of my box. How thick does fibreglass have to be to make a decent ly robust enclosure? Can it work as well as MDF?
The box will be about 1.25 cu.ft
ANy tips for grafting the box onto the front piece which might be MDF or fibreglass. Do people usually build some kind of internal bracing to make it stronger?
Thanks, Bob.
