I know it will depend on Xover slope and
the tweeter itself.

I am looking for a tweeter that can be crossed over low to mate with a 6.5" mid at around 2500hz.

Any suggestions// help ?

basically, unless you have a SUPER steep slope, your gonna be looking at crossing it over around 1 octave about its fs. Obviously this is just a ballpark.

thats a rough idea of where a safe place to start is. The Fs on my tweets is 500hz. So I do have the option of using them at very low frequencies. Are you building passives or going active?

I would like to go active.
I think my boston tweeter has an fs of 1200 ~1400
I can`t remember.

Isn`t it hard to get a car audio tweeter that has an fs lower than 1k.
