Understanding Frequency response and power..
Dude I wanna help but the auto features really NEED a sub to function right. let me try to explain. The unit want the eq curve to be flat, that includes bass freq. Your speakers cannot play sub freq. beyond a certain volume level. So what happens is the unit trys to boost the bass freq. to keep up with the rest of the sound. Freq all the way down to 20hz. Your speakers do not like this at all, thats why they're complaining when you try to turn it up. Setting your front slope higher will do no good, the units just gonna boost the bass that much more to make up for the reduction. With your current setup i'd say auto tune it to get the time settings, turn off the auto eq and tune by ear.
I know this isn't what you wanna hear but with what you have , for quality your gonna have to sacrifice volume and for volume your gonna have to sacrifice bass......GET A SUB. Theres plenty of dealers on this forum that can get great sounding bass for not much$ since your just lookin to balance out your system.

Yo Theif,
Need some help here. I am looking at how to switch phase using my 80PRS HU for individual speakers. Could not find it anywhere and my manual is lost
can you tell me how? (whether in STD or NW mode)
I also need someone to help me with the selection of crossover frequency in NW mode of the HU, what frequency to select, how much to overlap etc...Theif, I think you would have a solid idea about this since you use 880PRS...comments surely welcome dude

You can select the phase of each speaker only in network mode.
Use the function **** to select either high, mid, or low. Hold the funtion **** down till it beeps, there should also be a visual que the the left and right channels have been seperated. At this point a single press of the **** selects right or left channel. rotate the function **** to the right 2 clicks, push **** up or down to select phase.
As far as filter slopes thes guys are pretty bang on. The basic theory to slopes is universal, it has nothing to do with this unit. 100hz up front should be a good starting point.
Your gains..........NOT VOLUME CONTROL. Do a search on here about setting these properly, I KNOW it has been covered.
And last, there are no magic settings the will reveal some mystical sound you think your missing out on. Its a stereo, thats all, some sound good, some sound bad, they all sound different. Its all gonna come down to what YOU want to hear. You sound like you've got a bit of the bug so here you go. basic 101.

Do you know the car? theres no need to use the phase setting, is smaller than a coffin...
Vibez, forget about trying to find out the missin link, first you need to have the whole chain, Tw, Mids, and Sub, thats the main basic design to start a SQ system.
Put every setting in your hu to 0, do not go any further without a subwoofer, you will not going anywhere without a sub.
Cheers
