Hey guys:

There is momentum building to host a Sound Quality Summit in Vancouver sometime this Summer. It's been mentioned a few times in this thread: http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/cgi/...c;f=8;t=000665

I wanted to start a new thread to discuss the plausibility of doing one, and probably most importantly, an express of interest. Please respond here if you'd be keen on attending, and how many you might expect to come along with you.

And for the Calgary guys...don't worry, we're working on something there to, so hang tight!

I am interested. Similar cost to the one that just happened?

Yes, more than likely. My expenses are about the same...maybe slightly higher with the plane flight. But figure $300 CDN as a safe bet...

Okay so here it is. I attended the summit in Buffalo last weekend and would like to share my views on it. I have been in car audio for many years and have experience and knowledge in almost every facette of the 12 volt industry. However the amount of knowledge that I gained from the summit is absolutley overwhelming and invaluable (thank god I took notes). The ideas and techniques that were shared by Scott and the group were amazing. The seminar covered topics such as speaker design, speaker placement, set-up and tuning techniques, fabrication techniques, and much much more.

I dont want to rant on about this but I will say that if you are serious about moving forward and bettering your abilities in car audio you really should attend this summit. The cost of attending will be returned back ten fold in the knowledge and information that will be gained.

P.S. Thanks Scott I really enjoyed the seminar.

I'm interested if you think that a supplier perspective would be valuable.

Hey guys:

Thanx for the interest. I will retiterate that this is still in the way-out planning stages. Nothing set officially in stone. I want a good Calgary event too, so I need to be sure that there will be enough attendees to support two events at capacity, and not have them compete against one another. I think the same format as the last Summit in Buffalo would be followed, and yes, I do see incentives being laid out in the same way. More to come on all of this...
