w7 mix w/w3's?

Hey guys im a little ****ed up here.

I bought two w3's last year and now its time to move up. But i also love my w3's. I was planning on putting a new center console in the back of my 99 grand am and throwing a w7 in it and keeping my w3's in the trunk, but im advised against it because the two different series mixing and matching could produce a sloppy sound. I kinda believe it. What do you guys think.

I don't think you will have any prob as long you have separate amp and adjustment for it.

Your 400w alpine is a good match for the w3 but for the w7 you will need more power the get it to go boom boom...

My advise, get one 13w7 with a good 1000w@1ohm amp (stable 0.5 ohm) and try it, if you run into problems sell the w3/amp and run with one 13w7 it will be louder anyways.

Good luck

A 500.1 wont do it the dub7"s are 1000 watts rms put it in the trunk and put the w3's in the rear deck like was stated earlier i think that would be a nice setup

Why do you think you need a W7?
What is your objective?
Do you really believe it will add substantially to what you have now?
IF so, in what way?

To: Anyone with mismatched subs
From: the general populace

If you have different brands or models of subwoofers in your car, the general populace (or greater proletariat) will laugh at you and therefore feel better about themselves
