^^^ that's funny...
Laws of physics? What are those? (remember...I almost flunked out of highschool) Adam |
The one thing car audio has taught me is the more I know, the more I don't know. With that said, I always try to expand what I know, but I end up finding an ever increasing amount of stuff I don't and won't know.
To bad not enough people in this hobby (or any hobby) realize that. Juan |

Did anyone know they use Balsa wood for sound deadening in the Corvette? Adam |
did anyone know that the blackbird supersonic jet expands over a foot in legnth in flight due to the heat generated by friction when flying supersonic at 65000 feet, crazy fact, gotta love the learning channel

Did you know you that the Peregrine Falcon can acheive speeds of 320km/hr during a dive. The shock kills the prey. A radio tracked Peregrine Falcon flew from northern Alberta, to Mexico in three days.

did you know that adam barely graduated high school and has no degree, yet is still a pretty intelligent guy, whooda thunk it, that is one crazy falcon deedubveedub

Thanks guys.
Did anyone know they use Balsa wood for sound deadening in the Corvette? Adam Hey Adam! Actually the Balsa wood is used more for weight reduction. They also use a thinner windshield & titanium exhaust for the same reason. I know my Z06 is anything but quiet. |

Juan I wish I was still 17, I knew it all back then now I realize I know very little in the scheme of things Titanium is primarily a choice for corrosion resistance applications and light weight... it is seldom the low price option and I didn't know it had decent heat performance. I am interested in how they implemented it since it will accelerate corrosion in virtually any metal it is in contact with. |
