what do most shops charge for installing 6.5 comps?
#1
my car has stock speaker size of 5x7's in the front and rear. I recently bought a set of CDT audio Classic 6.5 comps for $300 at my door. Now i need to get them installed as i don't have the first clue bout how i might do this to make it look good nor do i have a clue about what is needed to be done.
So i'm gonna have the local shop do it and hopefully it won't look like crap.
What can i expect to pay in general for him to build/install these 6.5" component speakers in the doors?

Best Buy won't hack anything, I wouldn't let them try. If you actually won't them installed nice or in pods take a drive out of the City to Experts AVU in Camrose.

alright, might have to give this ray character a call see'n as he gets a lotta comments from you guys heh. I finally had a chance to make it into the shop i normally work with and he said $150 to build the base and install them and all.
I have no idea what all's in it for building, like i said stock is 5x7 and these will be 6.5" round w/ 1" tweeters and hte crossover
