That's up for interpretation as there are no set "rules" for basing one's opinion on.
wedge since sound is not important to you, evidently your opinion is based on what critical parameters? silk screening? Basket color? photogenic drivers?
If you have no experience you cant have an opinion with enough value on which to base a purchase that could be $50 or $500.

I'm still waiting....I know someone's gonna build it right before I die.....and do a good enough job marketing it that I'll find it.

So far I like the ID max for that deep down growl, and the Fusion FPW-1000, or 1200's for the metal kick in the a$$...not heard one yet that does both, but there's many I haven't heard yet.

I'm thinkin' the AVI is the next one I wanna try.

Where in the heck did I say sound was not important to me? Please, enlighten me...

It's an opinion and the person who has one is entitled to it...like I said, you don't have to justify it, or quanitfy it's value to anyone else, unless you are trying to prove a point. But that's not what we're doing here...all we're doing is letting everyone else know what our favourite subwoofers are...not hard to follow, is it?

OK,here is where
Back to the faves, whether you listened to them or not!

Concur… but read the first post, slammed_gsr is looking to make a purchase… and bear in mind this is the SQ section… he is trying to acquire knowledge to make a better purchase, so there is a point, and point is slammed-gsr’s $$.

Wedge I have a pretty flag next to my name and I try to make it a point to think of myself as a guest. My opinions often differ from others on here, many of whom have much more car audio experience. If I differ with someone I try to be vaguely respectful, and I apologize if I came off as other than a gentleman. And that isn’t hard to follow either…

That still doesn't answer my question...how does that say that sound isn't important to me?? That quote says YOUR faves...it doesn't say: now back to my faves, whether I listened to them or not...or am I wrong?

Oh, I do acknowledge the point of the post was to recommend him a new set of subs...but if you went through the post, you would have seen that only 2 people commented on the subs he's looking to purchase and they were both on the W3s...I'm not the only one off topic in this thread. The title of the thread is what is your FAV sub??...so, naturally, people would look at the title of the thread and post their favourite sub, disregarding the original post.
