What is your favorite demo disc?
What is your favorite demo disc?
Always looking for new demo discs. I use the IASCA discs of course, sheffield "Drive", Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms", Chuck Loeb "Mediterranean"(you know track 22 on IASCA 97...his whole album) and The Simpsons "Sing the Blues"
Sending compressed music via e-mail is defeating the purpose. You want the original disc or a bit for bit copy. I can give you a list of CD's that I use when I'm on the hunt for new products, but it will only do you good if you have a reference to go by.
I am located in Oregon USA.
Can you rip me your 2 channel cd (I think this is the one I need since my setup is not active).
Hmmm. IS the quality of a 320kbit mp3 rip same as the original CD?
Also, I think I could use the 5 channel test one so I can test my Logitech Z-5500 computer speakers too
I'll provide you an ftp server that I'm not using to upload your ripps:
[[ I will PM you the server info and password once your inbox have room!]]
I don't have much to offer in return except for some music I've uploaded.
Index of /music
Index of /music1/New Folder (all sorts of 90's dance music and bboy music here)
Basically, I am trying to test my new DLS MS6A components that I've bought for 230$
Elemental Designs
which are powered off this Nine.2 amp:
Elemental Designs
2x100 watts at 4 ohm
I also have two of these subs: [13kv.3]
Elemental Designs
powered by the Nine.2x amp:
Elemental Designs
600 watts total and 300 watts bridged to each sub

But all the same rules will apply. You need to have a reference to go by. My suggestion is to buy the Ultimate Demonstration Disc. In my opinion, this is the best all round reference available. I understand burning music is easier and cheaper, but if you want a REAL disc to listen to your gear with. This should be it. Well worth the price tag.
