Who here run Macrom speakers??

i came across a set (EXT 6.0). i have it biamped with a tru 4.100bb, and the sound is amazing!! better than my utopia and qsds i had before. i have the tweets in the a-pillars and mids in teh kicks. whoever is runing them, how do u have them mounted, do they work better in kicks or IB?

good question...i just got my pair of those and i was wondering what the best way to install them was...let me know if you get any more info...

as of right now i have the tweets in a-pillars crossed at 3.2k and the mids in a small kickpanel with a 1.5 in hole cut vented in the carpet and i LOVE the sound.

I love them...but I used for EXT 4.0 and MW6.0 I used 60 x 4 on them using Macrom 460

I was using a set of ext4.0's.. There a great sounding set of speakers.. The ext Tweet sounds better in the a-pillers then in the kick. Had them crossed over at 6khz.

Im actually selling them.

Houston, nice to hear you made your way to Canada.

Of course I run them, A pillars sound the best (to me) but they are a challenge to image from that point, ask Chev2.
James (westec) did a wonderful job, the time and care he took paid off big time.
I sealed off a set and they didn’t move to small an enclosure (2003 firebird and I sealed off the speaker pod in the door with fiberglass, had to re-open it and just drop them in), best I've seen is just deadening the doors and dropping them in, easy install no messing around.

do you guys use passives or biamp them? if you biamp them where u got them crossed?
