I have a 2 channel 600W power amp that is powering two pionner 12" sub's. I also have an active crossover. I'm wanting these subs to rattle the hell out of my car but it just doesnt seem to be doing the job. Is the power amp big enough to do this or is it too small?

Subs have specific characteristics. To get the most out of them, you have to build the box to compliment the specs of the driver. You also have to be careful with regards to box construction and materials.

How about this. Post your box dimensions, your port diameter and length and then see if you can find some specs on you sub. Someone here, like DUKK, may have a bit of time to plug it into a box program and tell you how good things may be for you ........... or not.

Also, is that 600 watt figure the one plastered in red paint across the top of the amp heat sink?????
