Any 15" is going to work best with 4+ cubic feet. 3 cuft is lacking, so don't expect the low's to be as good.

hmm but it would still be alot bettter than say 5 cubic feet sealed right?

i have never had good results with putting subs in smaller than recomended ported boxes. you end up with the output of a sealed box and it will sound like poo
