If I had $10k I would most likely not put it into a car stereo...
I would be more than happy with a stereo that consisted of
DLS 8.3 3-way components up front
powered by an audison 2channel amp
and for rear fill i personally really enjoyed my JL10w6v2 for nice SQ and decent output as well powered by something rated at about 500w rms
prolly only $2000USD for that full retail and installed by myself

i'm pretty happy all in all with what i have now though, Focal 165v2's and Smartass' proto 10" and kicker 650.4 and 1200.1 amps *shrug*

wouldn't spent that much on a stereo.

IF, notice the bif IF, I had 3k to spend, I'd trade in the 15" compvr's for L7's, put a 3000spl on each.
I'm scrap the MB Quarts and get the best 2 ohm door components i can find, so i could use the 190 wrms x 4 i've already got.
That would need a 250 amp alt upgrade as well.

Then i'd be happy. for at least week.

First of all, he never asked if you had 10k to spend he just plainly asked if anything, what you would put in your car if you were rich.. and what would it consist of.. and keep it under 10k..

I wouldn't spend anything.. happy with what I got.

$10K.... I would spend it all on blow and hot women and ride around in the pickup with 5 of them. Well, save for the blow as I would never ever touch that isht but the legal hot scantily clad women....... who needs a system after that.

I am getting the following system installed April 2/3 so I guess it would have to be my dream system under 10K (Utopia component's won't fit in that price range.

-Pioneer Premier 780MP head unit with iPod module (already installed)
-Focal 165K2Ps in front with dynamat in doors
-No rear fill as of yet (need to save more money)
-Audison LRX5.1K 5 Channel Amp (I believe RMS is 160X2 in front, 50X2 in rear, and 850X1 for sub)
-JL12W7 in HO Box with dynamat on rear hatch

This is for a 2006 Kia Sorento and will come to approx $7000 (labor/parts included).

i know that
the amp i like is that much
if you go big on a deck then you lack on the amp or speakers
the install is not in the 10k or matting or wiring .i'm just looking at what deck,EQ ,amp ,speakers ,sub
and you can not spend it all on blow and hot women (bin there done that and it costs more then 10k)
i think if i was doing a 10k set up i would not do the f1 deck but i would look at it
i think a mac deck ,audison amps, focal speakers and sub
