I have a pair of zapco C2K's and they are very good amps. A few years ago I had their Studio series and was very happy with 'em also. In fact, I wish I still had the Studio's for a comparison. I think that they may have sounded a little warmer, and they may have been better with jazz and classical.

i've used phoenix for the last 10years but decided to use zapco this year. i am using the reference 750 and 350 and i am more than happy with them. They come with the symbalynk and the new distributor in canada is awesome to deal with. They are clean and they deliver a great amount of power for a decent price. They are soon coming with the digital reference series those amp will have onboard processor. i would recommand zapco in a heartbeat

In a nutshell, symbilink converts rca signal into a balanced signal input, to keep the noise floor to a minium. Keeps the signal clean.

Someone once explained it to me, but I won't repeat it because I may not explain it correctly. Someone more knowledgeable will do a better job.

It works with any headunit (with rca's), as the symbilink converter takes in RCA cable and sends balanced signal via symbilink cable to the amp, which has a symbilink input.

I have Focal 165K2ps up front and 165V2s in the rear so I'd like a really nice amp to make them sing.

The Symbilink is basically a balanced line driver..... which converts unbalanced signal to balanced. You could also use HU with balanced out like the Denon Z-1 or one of the top Eclipse deck and go directly into the amp (balanced). and only with some custom termination of the plug.

Haunz, the broken ag150 i have is a first genaration (white series). It was originaly sold in 1999 to a young customer. That lil amp had a hard life of daily pounding (the type of customer that prefers a toggle switch rather than a volume ****,,,volume FULL BLAST or OFF). Six years and three cars later it looks like the outputs got weak. The amp was replaced by a MTX 4001 and the customer says "she dont pound like da Zappy"

Daz-man, have a look at the reference650.Its a six channel amp that has got lots of ***** on the sub output! I ran a 650 for 2 years in my own car powering 2 JL 15w6's(Zapco recomends 4ohm mono on the sub output,we ran it at 1.5ohm with no problems). It was amazing sounding! The amps x-over is set up cool, giving you the option of band passing the middle channel(great for running dual 6's in your doors). The only problem is the thing is huge, It must be 3 feet long.
