I need a 15" bar style grill, or pre-bent bars that i can make a grill out of to protect a JL 13W7. anyone know where to get one (aside from partsexpress that wants $18 usd for shipping and $9 usd for the part...

The bars are available at Home Depot and come in various lengths. Look great, durable, and much cheaper.

 

i just went to home depot and saw the bars... they only have bare bars that need to be bent. then there is the question of how to secure these bent bars to make a solid grill.
i really wish i could just get one of the parts express ones locally...

what about copper pipe, (not the flexible stuff) and fittings? you would solder them together just like when plumbing your house [img]smile.gif[/img] then you could paint them silver if you'd like.

Ok, I'll give out a secret. Go to IKEA in the kitchen hardware area. Look for the long metal handles. Hell of a lot cheaper then Home Depot and in some nice lengths too.

i actually went to the kitchen are at Home depot and found one nice handle... at $28!! i would need at least two.. too much $!

i will give Ikea and check out the local JL dealer ... maybe something will fit just right...
