Currently I own a 2010 elantra touring(wagon) and am thinking about upgrading my current sub and amp but wanted to know what kind on upgrades I would need to run at least 1500rms ( stuff like 0 awg wire and how many runs, battery, alt. etc...) right now Im running 4 gauge, stock battery and alt., and big 3 in 0 gauge

Just use two runs of 0 gauge for the amp. You don't need a batt or alt, but it will help.

Switch to 0 for power, and maybe one big battery, or a smaller but still decent secondary in the back or something, but thats only for 1500. I did it with the big 3, a slightly beefed alternator and 1 run of 2 awg wire with a Toyota battery up front and an Eliminator in the back.

If you want to run 30k then you may need a few good high output alternators, 8-10 big batteries, a lot of 0 awg, maybe a regulator since your alts might run at 15 volts and everything else will run at 12. Oh, and a 1 farad cap, can't forget that.

That should pretty much cover 1500 and up.
