2 amps 1 sub

What I was wondering was instead of using a distribution block to split the power wire into two wires can't I just attach another wire to the amp connected to the power wire and attach it to the second amp and can I also do the same with the remote wire

It would work, but in my personal opinion I would say that if you can fit two sets of power wires under the lugs than in all likelihood your power wires are too small to begin with. Remote wouldn't be a problem though.

An unfused distro block can be had for around $20 or so.....use one, it's safer and it makes it look like someone who knew what they were doing installed a 2 amp system. Daisy-chaining power wires like you are thinking will make other people who know what they're doing point at your stuff and shake their heads......

use a distro. block.. it will also make things easyer so your not trying to stuff 2 wires into one hole.
