Hey I'm not sure how stupid of a question this is but... Is it possible to run 2 amps on a DVC sub? Don't want to find out the hard way and wreck a sub.

Tell me what you think.

yes, it's possible.. you'll have to match the outputs on the amps with a DMM, but it's possible.

Thanks.
Now i need to find out what a DMM is, lol.
I previously heard that the outputs needed to be matched but i did not know how or what to use.

DMM = digital multimeter.
Measure the voltage on one of the amps, then compare to the other.
Try and match the power as closely as you can, and continue to do so as the volume gets higher until you have them as close as possible. (Ie do it at say voulem 5 on your deck, then at 10..etc to make sure it's still the same as the volume increases)
Voila.
Not too hard once you do it the first time.
Or just get two amps that you can strap together

Alright thanks. I had figured it would be something of that sort... Wish i had two amps i could strap together, but I'll deal with what I've got. I will probably just go with two subs, but i was curious about just running one.

you should use a constant tone when checking the voltage as well not music
