This is probably an easy question, but if i have an amp, 500wrms x1 and I have it running 2 subs, do they both recieve the 500wrms, or 250watts each? Is there any wiring set ups that will have different effects? Thanks

i would use option 2 from that, to end up with 2 ohms. my amp produces 1000watts max bridged. 500watts rms. I'm going to be running 2 16kv2's, dual 2s. I will hopefully upgrade to a nine.1.

no the amp that i have now is stable at 4ohm, so I have it wired at 4ohms, but my next amp will be stable up to 1ohm or less, so the information here will help me decide how much power I'll need, impeadence ect.

you need to get some single 2 ohm subs or dual 4 ohms.to get the most out of that amp

i would look for a mono amp that is stable @ 2 ohms
