Ok, i just went to best buy and found out that my new car, a 2002 cavalier has a computer system that runs through the deck. As a result the install is very different. If anyone knows the specific details on this, i would love to know. Especially if you know where i could get it done cheap. Thanks for any help.

Do yourself the favor and buy the right parts regardless what anyone else says.

There's no computer system that runs through the deck, no air bag,no """nothing"". the only thing different is that to power on, they use class 2 wiring (data signal) compare to 12v acc from other car. So you only need a standard wiring harness Metra 70-2003 or 70-2002 or Scosche GM-05 and find a acc signal ( AC or wiper fuse)

Yep, no issues with mine.. well when I had it in anyway...gee I missed that door chime....
