I don't know... guess I will find out

Dude, seriously consider mounting the center behind the panel and cover the front with a couple of layers of grille cloth.

Dude hehehe....
Well "bro" , indeed that first pic with a speaker in it does look pretty bad and sticks out way to much. I had to get a center in ASAP when I first received the MS8 and that was the result.

This is the latest design

Unfortunately the tweeter sticks out a bit past the face and I cant just rap it in grill cloth without there being a pointy middle.

I am considering using one of the stock grills but making it smaller as the stockers are always so huge.

I am open to other good ideas though.

Bellow is the piece with a milk shake topping to tr and get rid of the pin holes.

You could cover the mid and just hang the tweeter off the rearview, oldschool style

What, you don't like 'dude'?

I would still wrap it and just have the bump.

Is that bracket plastic? I mean, if it's metal you could bend it to give you a bit more clearance so you could cover it without a bump... You look handy enough to make one, but do you have the room, or will you hit the mid if you go lower?

Dukkude is fine, but it has a strange ring to it, coming from you especially for whatever reason.

I will try and just put some cloth and see how it looks. A speaker gill, even smaller might be to ugly.... unless I rap IT in grill to. Guess it's time to experiment.

Midnight racer: thanks, went to get different paints to see what color I prefer to use if I don't just cover it up with speaker cloth.

RomanticMoments: Good suggestion, it is plastic so I can't bend it but I do have a few metal pieces that could do the trick, but at that point it would be to close to the cone for comfort.
