I have an E46 M3 coupe and planning to install amp in where Mobility kit is located. Amp is Soundstream rub1.400 D Monobloc. It protrudes a little causing the lid cover not to completely go all the way down. Can anyone tell me if this would be ok and not cause any amp overheating issue?

By the way I'm using my stock Harman Kardon speakers and HU and just replacing the stock subs and amp with CDT 6x9's and Soundstream amp. I don't intend to shake the car next to mine just want a little tighter and deeper bass to listen to older rock (like Kiss, Whitesnake etc.) tunes. Do you think this would be better than stock system?
