Alpine IVA-205 w/ BlackbirdB200/ Help!

I can't get my cellphone to work with the Blackbird B200. It's inserted into the W205 and is connected. When I make a call on the head unit it shows that the call is made but I hear nothing.

Alpine's website and FAQ's are not help.

Thanks

Go into "System Setup" and scroll down to where it says bluetooth in. Set that to "NAV". You'll also notice that when you do this, "IN INT" disappears from the top of the menu. Also, make sure the microphone is plugged into the correct jack on the back of the W205, that is the 3.5mm jack on the wire dongle. The jack on the chassis of the unit is for steering wheel control input. Additionally, if your parking/foot brake wires aren't connected, you haven't gone through the proper procedure or installed a TR-7 you wont be able to access the setup menu!

Hope this information was helpful...

Alpine is more complicated than other manufacturers in this regard. The yellow/blue wire is the parking brake wire, and needs to see ground, while the yellow/black is the footbrake wire and needs to see 12v. It's not as simple as connecting the wires however. There's a sequence that needs to be followed exactly, or it won't work.

1) Power on the radio.

2) Engage the parking brake.

3) Keep pushing the foot brake and release the parking
brake once then engage it again.

4) When the parking brake is engaged for the second
time, release the foot brake.

After completing this sequence, you will be able to access all setup menus and view video sources.

***Note that it is illegal to view video while driving, so you should only bypass the intended safety features for use in off-road, show vehicles, display or marine applications.

That said, you could install a pair of switches somewhere to simulate the operation of the brakes, or PAC makes a unit called a TR-7 which comes factory programmed specifically for Alpine video bypass.

Can anyone assist me with steering remote control issues? I've had stereo installer put 2 steering modules in and it still doesn't communicate properly with my w205 unit. I can't get the seek button, mode, or volume button to work consistantly.
