Amp/Amps
Amp/Amps
I have two RF 10" HX2 D4ohmVC. I am looking for amp options. I have narrowed it down but now need some help.
Alpine MRD-M1000 x 1 @ 4ohm
Alpine MRP-M450 x 2 amps @ 2 ohm each
PG Xenon x400.1 x 2 amps @ 2ohm each
PG Xenon x600.1 x 1 @ 4 ohm
Is it as easy as getting a Y cbale to split the RCAs from deck to each amp in the two amp config? or is there a lot more to it. I know by spliting the RCAs the preamp output is essentially split but I can always get a line driver later. For right now I am just trying to figure out what to do. PLEASE HELP!

i cannot comment on which amp set up to go with personally i would use 1 amp to drive both subs and one amp to drive all you speakers. this is a personal preferance.
you can use the Y cable to split the signal to each of your amps. but it will not cut your voltage in 1/2. alot of amp also have a rca output as an input so you dont even need to worry about putting in Y splitters ( i dont know if any of the amp you have listed have this feature)
