Dude, you are a train wreck waiting for a place to happen. I wish you well with your quest as I don't want to inherit any of your problems.

I don't sell Eclipse But I do see at least 2 kids a month bring in stuff they bought from ebay that is broken. Then they all but cry when they find out they can't get their money back. And expect the shop to do something for them as a reward for being dumb.

OMG seriously, if you received a broken product contact paypal and open a dispute if seller wont refund... and they deal with it for you so YOU WILL get your money back... and if you broke it yourself well.. if you gonna be dumb you gotta be tough .... and whats with the quest and train wreck? i can insult you as well... you didnt even put a sensible argument, MR2NR i consider you rather shallow person now....
seems like this place is run by ppl selling products which becomes very BIOS... anyone know you cant beat ebay prices and these days internet shopping is safe....

I came for advice and received many non related questions and facts and few insults... awesome guys...

Lazyluke, the problem is there are so many subs for different types of people (some who want the loudest, some who want best sounding, some who want the best of both, some who want prestige, some who want the cheepest, some who want best bang for the buck). That's why you are not getting your so called simple question answered.

here is my recommendation
Solen Electronique Inc.

Cheep, available from canada with warranty. You might not know dayton, but they are known as best bang for the buck in the do it yourself community. It is a small box sub with good mix of loud and sounds good but mostely "sounds good".

If I were to sell you something, based on your posts and replies, you are going to be a problem customer. I have no desire to sell you anything and I do not have to sell you anything. You have clearly made it evident where you want to shop and you have posted it clearly that what you think you know about audio is enough. If all you wish to do is come to the forum and take information and then run to e-bay, so be it. I am not a shallow person at all, I am a businessman that made a consious business decision not to deal with a problem customer.

MR2NR i didnt come here to buy stuff i came for recommendations, and answer to question whats the best way to hook up 2ohm DVC driver to amp thats 1.5 ohm min.... if possible at all.... so far i got one opinion that making parallel system with another sub(different 12") is not a good idea.... and no offense but i dont buy from retail if i dont have to

lazyluke- good name you are lazy but you work hard at it... and you are a little all over the place (so yeah I would second the train wreck comment :P)... but that is common in car audio.

Earlier I asked you to simply state what you wanted and why (2 sentences) now you have added a lot of info and I still cant say anything as I have no idea what you really want (but I know you dont want a sub that hums (whatever that means)).

As ideas are sent your way you have shot them down with more information than we thought you had (since you claim noob status) so you obviously have something in mind that you haven't really shared. Again this leads me back to the same question 'what is the ideal system you have heard?'

If you want an additional subs to what you already have I would recommend they be the same brand/ model. With your research (on line videos) I am genuinely puzzled at your selection of eBay products over other products available on eBay though. The Eclipse sub mr2nr recomended was a good match to the music you mentioned though and it does everything well like a JL w6.
