amp kit

hey guys quick question.

if my amp says it has a 222W max output , is there any reason i would need more then a 400watt amp kit? I'm just having 1 10" powered off the amp.

an 8 AWG amp kit should do the trick. make sure the fuse in the kit is above the fusing on your amp
