Question

Sorry to be posting a new topic, but I couldnt find any other info about this sorta thing. I'm just wondering if its possible to hook up an amp per voice coil, and what, if any, are the dangers in doing so? I've got 2 JBL 1200.1's and would like to throw them on a DD3500 15. As far as I know the amps arnt strapable. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.Thanx

That might be too much juice for the sub for daily driving..... but other then that running 1amp per sub is fine....

Edit: ment to say running 1amp per coil is fine....

SO what your saying is I should stick with 2 12's? My vehicle is a daily driver, but I'd also like to compete seriously this year.

I had 2 D2's hooked up to each coil on an inhuman 15. As long as you match the gains on the amps, you should be ok, although I'm not sure how much power that sub can handle.
