Hello all, im new here and I have been trying to find some knowledgeable people to ask questions, so I figured this would be the best place to find out. Well, I recently bought 2 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 1 Subwoofers ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-4Ti1DcS...00&I=575P110S4 )
and I have the boxes for them made and everything.. but I have one problem. I've been told that hooking up these subs parallel really makes them put out awesome sound, but with this amp I am looking to buy ( http://www.crutchfield.com/S-vjZXzuX...os&i=489AP1200 ), it looks like it can't go in bridged mode and run at 2 ohms, so the parallel setup is out of the question. I am wondering what is the best way to hook up the speakers to the amp, becuase I'm really no expert when it comes to this stuff.
Thanks

simple and easy, hook one sub to each chanel... if i remember correctly the P1s are 150 WRMS so the 200 on each will sound nice.

oh and hooking the subs up in parallel wont make them sound better, i depends on the amp. say you have a 2chanel amp. 200 watts at 4 ohm x2, 600 watts at 2 ohm x1, then yes the 600 watts would sound "awesome" if awesome means louder. but just because there in parallel doesnt mean that they will sound better...
