Amp wont turn on

Exclamation Amp wont turn on

K so i hooked up my amp today...i read the instructions and looked at pictures and it seems i did everything right, But the amp wont turn on. the only thing im wondering abut is the remote turn on wire. its just a plain old blue wire right no plug at the end?.
So i just shuved it in the hole. any ideas of what i should check

Exclamation Remote turn on

K so i found out its my remote turn on. Can someone please tell me how to hook that up. i have an aftermarket deck (Sony CDX-GT710). and yes i do have the remote turn on wire

Run a peice of wire from the blue (rem) on the deck to the amp, solder the end at the deck and plug the other end into the amp..

to save yourself the time, read the manual for your deck and make sure you are using the remote turn on wire and not the wire for a power antenna, one is usually blue and the other blue with a white stripe..

Do you mean the blue hole at the back?? if so i already tried that, and solder as in what???

Well i bought an amp installation kit so there was only one blue wire.

alright i figured it out, i was putting it in the "remote in" plug...(sighs). thanks for helping me figure it out guys. and it sounds very good

the blue wire needs to be hooked up to a switch (like a wallswitch) so you can turn it on and off easier

A WAll switch eh?? Maybe thats what I have been doing wrong all these years!! lol

How about a 100 amp breaker for the remote wire. TTTHHHaaaaat would look coooooooool.
