Every one knows about POS amplifier companies that you see thier products at the flea market.

My question is, does anyone know where to buy a good size length of the bare heatsink/housings?

As some of you know, I love crazy installs. I need about 6 feet of generic finned amp heatsink for a project.

Usually those companies require a minimum run of a few thousand.

 

Contact what is left of Linear Power. They used to let people specify multichannel amps in custom long common heatsinks. They might just sell you a length of heatsink.
