This is basically the only thing that pisses me off about Honda's are their tiny batteries. I have a 51R in my car and probably could use an upgrade, but the problem is I cant afford the likes of an optima.

I was wondering if there are any batteries out there that would work well for a guy on a small budget.

I could probably use a wire upgrade as im running 4awg to around its theoretical limits (my amps are fused for 125amps total) but I cant afford that right now either. I've already done the big3 upgrade so thats not an issue.

Thanks!

I've had pretty good luck with Sears Die Hard Gold batteries. They tend to only last about 2 years tho... but good warranty.

97 Civic SI Coupe, pretty sure nothing but a 51R is fitting in there. Im not quite sure though.

If I could get a 34 in there I would change it in a heartbeat for an exide orbital.. anyone know for sure?
