Wire your subs in parralell to give to a 2 ohm load, and bridge your amp to 1ch mono.
Most importantly, put the subs in a GOOD box.

take the negative end of one sub and wire it up to the postive of your second sub. Nw, think of your two subs as ONE - you've got one open positive post, and one open negative post. Hook these posts up to your amp.

If that what it says in the manual, some amps have a switch.

Ummm, ilovecables is wrong here......

The way you explained is wiring in SERIES. If you have 4ohm subs and wire it this way you will have 8ohm...not so good.

to wire in Parallel you need to take the + from a sub to the + on the other sub then to the + on the amp. Same with the -.

http://www.termpro.com/articles/spkrz.html

This way if you have 4ohm subs you will get 2 ohms.

What's the specs on your subs? Single Voicecoil? dual Voicecoil? 4ohm, 2ohm?
