Big 3 Dillema - :(

Looking at + post of my battery and one 8 or 10 gauge is coming from the Alt and the other is "Fused then goes - car electrical components.

I'm running a 150amp ANL fuse to the audio section and the stock 80amp I'd like to re-wire the stock fuse with an MANL (unfortunately I only have a 60 and 100 MANL fuses) Can I install a 100 amp MANL fuse temporarily until I get the 80Amp?

I'll have photos in a few

Thanks in advance?

J

Don't fuse the wire leading from battery to alternator.

FusionMadsen thanks for the info - I wasn't doing that to begin with. My original post stated:
Looking at + post of my battery there is one 8 or 10 gauge wire coming from the Alt and the other is "Fused then goes - car electrical components.
The stock +'s have two going to the terminal. One is from the Alt(not fused) the other is going to the cars electrical components(80amp fused)

Can I install a 100 amp MANL fuse temporarily until I get the 80Amp fuse on the electrical side only?

is the factory fuse broken? if not, then why are you replacing it?

yah you can put the 100 amp fuse in there, i just dont see why you'd do that if the one in there works?

Yuli I'm changing the terminal posts so it can accept two 8gauge inputs and two 2or0/1gauge inputs. It's a lightning audio battery terminal - I got a from S & S electronics for dirt cheap. The old terminal wouldn't accept 2 gauge let a alone 4 gauge a was hell to get on last year!

I'll post photos once the Kinetic battery is in today!
