Big 3 Engine Block Ground location

Will that work or is there somewhere specific I should be looking for?

Trace back the factory grounds from your battery (-) and you should be able to find the original.

that will work. I normally put my ground on the alternator bracket. Make sure there is no coating between the alternator and the bracket (sand it down a bit)
