I have a customer with a 3Series BWM and the HK system.

Said customer would like to put in a flip screen while retaining all the HK system.

Is there anyway of adding in the deck and keeping the rest stock?

I ask because I got burned (ended up not working) in a mini a couple of years ago trying to do the exact same thing.

E46 or newer? If E46, have you tried using factory trigger and and pre-outs from the flip?

I recall there was a Peripheral product that allowed you to modulate pre-out signal to work with factory amped systems. You could give that a try as well... sorry, this probably wasn't much help.

 

Its a 2005.

If I'm understanding this correctly you should be OK as long as the car does not have the I-Drive system in it
