West BMW installl

Heloo.

im thinking about transfering my system to my BMW 323i 2000. has anyone done a setup in a car like this? anything to keep in mind, what works what doesnt...?

would I be crazy to cut holes and mount the subs on the rear deck below the window? depreciate value much?

fyi the battery is located in the truck stock so that is definitly sweet!

done this before on a 2002 330ci
be prepared to lose some trunk space
we used a SS picasso for front 3 way focal utopia and a pair of coaxes in the rear factory location
and a SS ref1000s for a single focal 38KX in a bandpass box in the trunk
all running off an alpine 7998R

it rocked, sound was crisp and detailed for the front stage and the sub was excellent

good luck with your install and be careful with the plastic tabs on the door, pillars and anything you'd remove from the car as they tend to brake easily

Mounting the subs on the rear deck would effect the value of the vehicle if u were modifying the structure. I personally, wouldn't do it on a beamer.

What year is it? If its a 2000 go for it.. The values gunna be dropping soon anyways.

If your going to run that amp, be prepared to do some electrical upgrades. I would suggest going with two 10"s or two 12"s.
