Box makeup.

I am not totally positive that i should have started a new thread cuz this kinda branches off one of my other questions. But i am gonna get a 10" orion 2000Wrms Subwoofer and put it in a sealed box. Now i have been making my boxes out of 3/4 fiberboard and that has been working perfectly but can 3/4 fiber board take a 2000W beating? Or should i switch to 1 inch thick? Or should i use some totally different wood?

3/4" should be fine as long as you use good qality wood glue and lots of it. and use proper bracing. but is your not worried about weight or anything 1" cant hurt

3/4" with proper bracing would be enough, but if you want to go the extra mile, for the cost of 1" MDF, I'd sooner take 2 pieces of 3/4" and glue and screw then together... will be cheaper, and stronger than 1" MDF...

Double up on the baffle board as the subs wieght alone + the movement of the cone will more than likely cause it to rip out of the box. Use Tnuts and bolts to mount the sub if you can. Do not use drywall screws to mount the sub.

WUT! Bolts? How am i supposed to put the bolts on if i can't tighten them from the inside of the box? And I may feel stupid for asking this but what is a baffle board?
I am going to have the subwoofer box pointing towards the ceiling, that will help it alot from ripping out am i right?
...and you said not to use screws to mount the sub: It is alright to use screws (along with lots of liquid nails) to hold the box together though am i right?
