I have completed my first specs for my ported enclosure. Hopefully everything is wha t i calculated it to me. I was going for 1.6cf net tuned to 25hz. After reading the tutorials and useing the tunning equation i have came up with this box.

All the measurements shown in the pic are external except the ports. Out of fluke everything worked out perfectly only if i put a second sheet of MDF behind the sub so it has 1.5" of support and it took up just the right amount of spcae to make it 1.6cf. It has a total of 74.5" in port length and should be perfect for my setup. If anyone sees anything grossly wrong don't hesistate to say something.

And to all the other people designing boxes for the first time it takes time but its not as hard as it seems to be! Thanks for all the help guys!

^^Very, true. It's just a ported box with a port that's really long.

with a long port (that long) you may get port noise
but
you need to make it to find that out
tell us if it works also what's like that low
