Bridging amp for subs
Okay, right now I have one amp running my subs. I have an another identical amp that I would like to use. The current amp has 2 RCA cables running to it so how can I use another amp for my subs if you only have two RCA inputs from the head unit? Can I just use the left input on one amp and the right input on the other amp?

whoa....slow down a minute!!
1st, what brand of amplifier and model.
some require a"special cable".
while others have phase switch and an inverted output to the slave amplifier.
last method is with an external bridging modual.
****DO NOT put a splitter between two bridged amplifiers unless they have a slave/master switch without a seperate output.
Attaching the negetives of both amplifiers speaker outputs will also need to be done, leaving both positive terminals to power your subs.

The amps are RF 500S and you can bridge it by just hooking up one speaker wire to the "+" on the left channel and the "-" on the right channel. So I would think I could take the one RCA jack and use it on the other amp. Am I right?
Not much of a difference so I think I need to use Y cords.
