Capacitor vs Deepcell Battery

Capacitor vs Deepcell Battery

I am new here and i hope i am posting in the right forum.....I am setting up my system I have a phoenix gold 8.0.4 amp running 4 6.5 comp set and 2 bazooka ela 1500 mono amps running 2 phoenix gold 12"zr's at 2ohms and a chill kit to cool down the bazooka amps...here is my question ,I have gone to a few different stores and I keep gettting different answers..do I need a Capacitor or a deepcell battery to run my system????

and
deepcell battery is better then a cell

I 2nd that,
big three,
then a deep cycle batt. (if needed)
Caps over-rated, imo.

do you mean ( ALTERNATOR)

"Big three" refers to upgrading the gauge of wiring from :
1. Postive alternator to positive battery
2. Negative battery to chassis
3. Adding an alterator to chassis

I would suggest using 0 gauge cable for this upgrade...

Why 0/1? Unless he's not drawing more than 200 amps I don't see a point in going to heavier cable. Sure there would be less resistance overall, but enough to make a difference?

what kind of car and yes i would do the big three and a deep cycle batt i personally like the efx dry cell or the interstate yellow top

I drive a ford Contour and I believe I am drawing 160amps with these 3 amplifiers

In theory, it is possible to draw that much. More likely at max volumn, you are going to be drawing roughly half of that current on music.

Ok guys thank you all for your help I will try to do the big 3 this weekend .......I have to say this is a great site wish I had found out about it a long time ago...Once again ty!
