Covering sail panel tweeters with fabric

I was at a friends shop recently and noticed a car with very nicely done sail panels, just curious if anyone knows what fabric would be best suited for this application... The last time I remember seeing this was from a friend that used to be in the stereo game 12+ years ago.

I used grille cloth in mine - seemed kinda obvious

thanks for the obvious answer... I usually don't use anything for its "intended" purpose
