Deck problem-solved

I just finished install Sony f7705x in my car 98 Pontiac Firebird.
But, it doesn't displays anything although it accepts CD.
What is the problem??
p.s I didn't use a wiring hareness

YEs it should.
On the Sony you should have a yellow, red, and black wire.
On the car you will need a orange yellow and black.
The yellow from the deck should go to the orangs in the vehicle, the red from the deck should go to the yellow in the vehicle and the blacks get connected to each other.
Try that for starters and report back if it works or not, then we can worry about the others. Oh and hopefully the factory plug was already missing or I would have to reprimand you for cutting it off and not using a harness [img]tongue.gif[/img]
