Disconnecting Amp

I know not mcuh about car audio i wanna disconnect my amp and turn my sub box facing backwards from inside of car in trunk..
when reconnecting will i have to do anything besides puting cables back in there normal spots?

Pull the fuses first before you take the amp out.

Put the fuses in last once everything is connected.

That basically covers it.

Oh, and make sure you don't reverse the power and ground wires.

Not so much that as the main inline fuse. That'll prevent power from going anywhere, in case you short the power wire to ground (ie, strike it against a seat post).

btw, if you don't have a main fuse for your power wire, you better get one before you risk setting your car on fire.
