Does anyone remember an install......

That was in the back of an SUV using mostly Rockford products.

The unique thing about this installation was that it was VERY industrial. They used rusted diamond plate, thick wire mesh, metal conduit, and many other unfriendly items. It looked like a "metal shop" inside. I seem to remember it was about 5-7 years ago. I thought I saved the article, but no luck.

I am looking to recapture that style in my '60 coupe deville.

Any pics of that specific job or ones similar would really be appreciated.

Sounds like it's right up my alley. Industrial is good. I've seen a couple cars painted like they're riveted together with little rust lines streaming down from them. One of them emulating an old fighter plane with the shark mouth painted from the front bumper/grille, part way down the front fenders.

I know I'm no help except use your imagination and get some scrap metal and tubing and start placing it around the trunk of your ride and taking pictures and notes. Keep us updated with specs and pics. Sounds "original" for being a copy-cat install.
