I've got a customer with an s2000, basically he needs to bring is US spec S2000 up to par with CDN DRL regulations. His US Spec car does not have day time running lights.


The S2000's drls are just the highbeam bulbs at about 40% intensity...

Anyone know where we can find a DRL module to put the bulbs at 40-60% intensity?

One I found was model number 45060 from here: http://www.hamsar.com/drlkits.htm

I'd like to find one ASAP, and preferably a supplier in Manitoba...

Anyone have any ideas for that?
Or another way to do it?

 

try to find the guys that export cars to asia, they usually rip the drl modules out of those cars and toss them cause most of the customers dont want them. they could probably hook you up with one. other than that check the wreckers for a module or call around to parts shops

 

Well did you try the dealer? We do these jobs often, cars get imported from the US with no DRL.

Order the module from the dealer, there's usually a kit for the exact situation for most cars.
